New Owner Orchestrates Own Obliteration, Fires Employee Who Owns Essential Patents

A new owner stepped in to take over a machine shop and began with the trimming of the fat. The logistical consultant found himself in the crosshairs.

This type of behavior is to be expected these days whenever a new owner steps in to take control of a business. An ever increasing number of these disastrous experiences  seem to involve a rash, relatively inexperienced, individual who thinks that they know better than the staff who are a part of the furniture. 

That may be well and good in some of these failing business that have been mismanaged or are grossly over staffed. 

A great example of this would probably be Peloton (that overpriced indoor bike) which has recently cut 2800 jobs. Quite frankly, I was surprised to find out that they even employed that many people

As the new owner was chopping heads logistical consultant, u/NotLagRange, found his head placed on the chopping block. 

"He did not understand what exactly my job was and thought it was unnecessary. I could tell he was just waiting for my contract negotiation." States u/NotLagRange.

Sure enough, when the time of reckoning came, it became clear just how undervalued u/NotLagRange was. The new owner seemed to be completely unaware of the fact that u/NotLagRange held essential patents to the logistics of the business and the new owner was further belligerent and unwilling to budge on terms.

This would eventually lead to the absolute obliteration of the company and u/NotLagRange's ultimate revenge. 

According to his updates, U/NotLagRange has taken the advice of the commenters and is now seeking to attend the bankruptcy auction for his former company in order to take over their assets and their business. Business which he, conveniently, holds multiple patents to. 

You gotta love it when a plan comes together.
